The end

Warner Bros. legal has requested the removal of many features of this site. Instead, I’ve decided that it’s time to simply say goodbye.

It’s been nearly two decades since the first James Potter website went live.

It’s been one long and worthwhile labor of love. But it’s still labor (and expense) and thus I believe the 20th anniversary is a satisfying note to end on.

For those of you who took a chance on these stories, I thank you!

For the many, many of you who voluntarily created translations (I’ve lost count of how many there are now, with more in the works), I’m deeply honored and humbled.

For those who reviewed the stories on Goodreads (40,000 and counting!), even if your review was negative, I truly value it! (I did say “crooked smile” way too many times in book 2!)

It’s been truly excellent to have so many of you along for the ride.

And this isn’t truly the end. The books will still surely be found online somewhere, somehow. The audiobooks will still be available.

But as for my part in them, this is my farewell.

I’ve so enjoyed building and hosting these sites. I’ve so loved crafting these stories.

If you want to send me a little goodbye note, I’d love to hear from you.

If you want to buy me a coffee (I’m American, after all) I certainly won’t turn you down.

In short: download the books here while you still can. I expect the site will stay live until the end of the year.

After that, I won’t be gone…I’ve just disapparated.
